Specialist Topics & Skills

My expertise is finance with a keen focus on families. I am regularly seen on TV talking about topical issues relating to household money – whether it be how families can save money, make money or just better manage their finances. For example, I have been on SKY news to discuss things like the costs of bringing up children, families in debt, how families can save on their shopping, supermarket tricks and more.

I have also featured as an expert on BBC’s Right on the Money as well as BBC Your Money, talking about financial education and investing for children with junior ISAs. Have also been on ITV and C5.

Was also the presenter for FSCS and the financial journalist in the last series of Superscrimpers (c4).

Confident with autocue, scripts (happy to be involved writing them too), ear piece and other presenting essentials. I also have excellent interviewing skills.

I have a strong financial journalism background. I started my career at the Financial Times. Since freelancing, I continue to write for various papers and women’s magazines.

Also the founder of personal finance site for mums –, which is often quoted in various media outlets
